Lt. Gov. Wyman, Access Health CT CEO Jim Wadleigh Announce Open Enrollment Extension
(Hartford, Conn.) - Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Chair of the Board of Access Health CT (AHCT) and AHCT CEO Jim Wadleigh announced today that the deadline for enrolling in healthcare coverage that begins on January 1, 2017 has been moved from tonight at midnight to Saturday, December 17, 2016 at midnight.

Gov. Malloy Directs State Flags to Half-Staff in Honor of State Representative Betty Boukus
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is directing the flag of the State of Connecticut to fly at half-staff in honor of State Representative Betty Boukus (D-New Britain, Plainville), who passed away early this morning. State flags should be lowered beginning immediately until sunset on the date of interment, which has not yet been determined.

(Hartford, CT) – Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Commissioner Sean M. Connolly, and Major General Thaddeus Martin, Adjutant General of the Connecticut National Guard, today inducted ten veterans into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame. Gov. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Wyman Applaud Final Legislative Approval of Bill Protecting Victims of Domestic Violence
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman are applauding a vote in the State Senate this afternoon to approve a bill the Governor introduced that protects victims of domestic violence by prohibiting the possession of firearms for anyone who becomes subject to a temporary restraining order. The bill, which received approval last week in the House of Representatives, will now be transmitted to the Governor for his signature.

On Thursday, May 26, 2016, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman and radio personality Brad Davis will host the 9th annual Wall of Honor ceremony at the Capitol in Hartford. Joined by Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Major General Thad Martin, state officials, and military families, the event memorializes the 65 Connecticut troops killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since the 2001 terrorist attacks.
