• 6/18/2015 Gov. Malloy & Lt. Gov. Wyman Statements on Monthly Jobs Report Showing Connecticut Has The Largest Labor Force Since 1976

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman today released the following statements in response to the release of the Connecticut Department of Labor's monthly "Labor Situation" report for May 2015.

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Connecticut Department of Insurance Commissioner Katharine L. Wade, and Access Health CEO Jim Wadleigh issued the following statements on today's Supreme Court decision regarding King v. Burwell. 

• 6/25/2015 Friday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Speaks to Volunteers at End Hunger CT Summer Meals Canvass in Plainville

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will join federal, state, and local officials, staff and volunteers from End Hunger CT, CT No Kid Hungry, and the Plainville Hunger Action Team at a canvass event to raise awareness of the federally-funded summer meals sites for children and teens.  

• 6/7/2015 Monday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Attends Events in New Haven, New Britain, and Hartford

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will welcome participants of the Women's Campaign School at Yale University. WCS is a non-partisan leadership program that works to expand women's reach in government.

• 6/5/2015 Saturday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Speaks at Events in Hartford and Cromwell

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will welcome participants of the annual Race for the Cure hosted by Susan G. Komen Connecticut. Then, she will speak at the opening ceremony for the 2015 Connecticut Student Innovation Expo. The Expo showcases work by students engaged in science, technology, engineering, and math.

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will chair the quarterly meeting of the Interagency Council for Ending the Achievement Gap.

• 6/23/2015 Tuesday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Keynotes CT Junior Republic Graduation

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will keynote the Connecticut Junior Republic (CJR) graduation ceremonies. CJR is a nonprofit organization that provides education and treatment to at-risk young people and their families.

• 6/23/2015 Wednesday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Speaks at Boys State Annual Government Summer Program, Chairs Commission on Youth and Urban Violence Meeting

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will greet participants of Boys State; a law, policy, and government summer educational program sponsored by the American Legion.  

• 6/9/2015 Wednesday: Lt.Gov. Wyman Attends United Way Women's Leadership Council Event in Hartford

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will make remarks at the Power of the Purse lunch, a fundraiser hosted by the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut's Women's Leadership Council. The event supports two school-based Family Financial Centers in Hartford that offer services and resources to low income families.

  Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will speak to the Business Council of Fairfield County's Health Council on the state's implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Connecticut's healthcare exchange, Access Health CT, is a national model and has enrolled 594,000 residents in affordable healthcare.

  Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) announced that Lieutenant Governor Wyman will greet the members of Connecticut's fire crew as they return home to Connecticut tomorrow with arrival time of approximately 10:30 a.m. at Eastern District Headquarters, 209 Hebron Road, Marlborough.

  Department of Veterans' Affairs Commissioner Sean Connolly, Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Department of Administrative Services Commissioner Melody Currey, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Director of Veterans Cemetery Grants Program George Eisenbach, and state officials gathered today to break ground on an expansion of the 24-acre State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
